FOOD STORAGE CLASS RECAP

A few weeks ago, we offered a food storage class and it was awesome! We learned inexpensive ways to create better tasting, easy to make food storage meals. During the class, we made and tasted breakfasts, lunches, dinners and desserts. We also sampled extras like breads that you can make for under 30 cents a loaf, homemade whipping cream and homemade butter made from shelf-stable cream. We also learned about using bottled meats from pressure canning, how to preserve foods in mylar bags and how to grow our own sprouts for better nutrition.
